Upcoming Events:

SUMMER CHILDREN’S MINISTRY VOLUNTEER SIGN UPS: Interested in checking out what happens in Children Ministry? Volunteers are needed for the summer beginning June 13th through September 5th.

NEWCOMER Café: Are you new to the church? Please join us in the youth house TODAY, immediately following the Sunday morning celebration. Coffee and light refreshments will be available, along with a chance to meet some of the church’s leaders and find out more about opportunities for connecting with the church.

MISSIONS UPDATE: Please pray for several missionaries connected to the church who are planning travels to the United States this summer. David& Kathy Wolf (pastors at the Vineyard in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia) will be flying to the States this coming week, Sarah & Gurav Misra (serving in Turkey with YWAM) have already arrived, and Rachel Smallish along with her fiancé Maxwell (serving in Ghana with
YWAM) are arriving in June for their July wedding.

F5 (4th – 8th grade): First Friday Fun For $5! The first Friday of June, July, & August, we will be doing a fun summer activity. Coming up on Friday, June 4th, we will be going Go-Karting and Putt-Putting from
6:30 - 9:30 PM. Permission slips are in the lobby with more details. Friday, July 2nd, we will be playing kickball, eating pizza and watching a movie at the church from 6 - 9 PM. Questions? Call Suzanne Hodges at 734.330.3899.

PICK-ME-UP CARDS: Want to bless your neighborhood by spending some time on the afternoon of trash day bringing their trash and recycling bins up from the curb to their home? A fresh stock of cards is available in the lobby so you can let them know “God loves you, no strings attached.”

Ministry News:

COMPASSION MINISTRY: May 22nd - We served 46 households representing 188 souls and provided 5,528 lbs of goods! 11 households were new to our Ministry this week. Milan provided 19 of our households, Ypsilanti 21, Ann Arbor 3, and Willis, Carleton and Maybee 1 each.

Children's Ministry:

NEW HERE? WELCOME! We are so glad you are here with us today. We hope you will find this helpful:

Matthew 19:14 Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these”.

The Nursery (birth-walkers) and Tiny Tot (1-2 years old) classes are located downstairs and are available throughout the service. We also have a room just off the lobby, set aside for nursing mothers that is available throughout the service as well.

All children entrusted to our care this morning will need to have a registration card filled out. These cards may be found downstairs at the sign in tables for those that are 3 years old-5th grade or in their classrooms for those in the Nursery or Tiny Tot rooms. The cards may be filled out and returned to the teacher or the monitor at the time you drop off your child.

To ensure security, the monitor for the day will take a picture of you with your child to go on your registration cards. (This helps us to know who belongs to whom!)

Children 3 years old-5th grade are dismissed to their classes after worship (music). We would like all children in 3rd grade or younger to be escorted by their parents. You are always welcome to join them and check out what cool things are happening downstairs!

ALL children must be picked up from their classrooms by the parent
or guardian pictured on the registration card immediately after
the service.

Youth Ministry:

JR. HIGH (6th- 8th grades): Jr. High students meet every Sunday after the announcements in the Youth House next door.

SR. HIGH (9th- 12th grades): Sr. High students meet on the 1st, 3rd and 5th Sundays of the month. Join us after an-nouncements in the Ministry Center across the street.

UPSTAIRS (6th – 8th grade): Eat. Play. Worship. Learn. Come. Thursdays. 7:00—8:30 PM. Youth House.

VINETIME (9th- 12th grades): Come. Learn. Worship. Play. Eat. Wednesdays. 7:30—9:00 PM. Youth House.

E (4th – 8th grade boys): E (for Everyone) happens on the first Friday of each month in the Youth House. We eat snacks and play “E” and “T” rated video games on the big screens.

DANCERS4GOD (4th – 8th grade girls): We meet every Monday from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm in the Ministry Center. Come in comfy clothes ready to dance and worship God.
